Carriage 4786 is rejuvenated “red rattler” with décor influenced by the fabulous style of the 1950s.

 

The carriage is ideal for couples and comprises a comfortable queen-sized bed, spacious kitchen/dining room equipped with a full-sized fridge, stove, oven, microwave, tea/coffee making facilities, toaster, crockery, cutlery, coffee maker.

 

The lush red velvet lounge room has plenty of DVDs, videos, magazines and board games to keep you entertained. We’ve also hung a series vintage Australian posters that is often a talking point with our guests.

 

Relaxing in front of the slow combustion wood fire is a perfect way to spend a cold Canberra day. In the warmer months the carriage also has air conditioning and windows that provide a cooling through breeze.

 

The large wrap around verandah is an ideal spot to enjoy a BBQ while admiring the stunning bush scenery.

 

Carriage 4786 also offers laundry facilities.

 

The carriage is strictly a non-smoking area.
